From harvest to bottling, our coconut water is clear. It can turn pink over time when the varying levels of antioxidants interact with the elements, such as light. Our proprietary multi-step micro-filtration process keeps the original, naturally sweet coconut flavor and maintains nutrients while ensuring the safety and integrity of the final product and extending the shelf life in refrigerated conditions.

The micro-filtration system we have adopted removes all bacteria and produces a commercially sterile product without needing to pasteurize thermally.

Our products are certified organic according to the USDA’s National Organic Program  (NOP) standards. This certifies that our products are made without persistent pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or sewage sludge. It also means our coconuts are never irradiated or produced with GMOs.

We are proud that we never thermally pasteurize our product, which means it’s as close to getting the water directly from a coconut as can be! We have developed a proprietary multi-step micro-filtration process to extend shelf life in refrigerated conditions.

Yes! Our products do not use any ingredients that are derived from animals or processed using animal byproducts, however, it is not formally certified vegan by any third party.

Currently, we only offer direct ordering and shipping within the contiguous United States. Orders are shipped via FedEx, so we aren't able to ship to P.O. boxes at this time.

Once your order has been processed and your credit card has been charged, we are unable to make any changes. Always make sure to double-check your cart, shipping address, and payment details before completing your purchase!

If needed, you can create an online FedEx Delivery Manager account that allows you to reroute your shipment to another residential location, request to hold for pickup, and schedule your delivery window!

We are unable to accept returns after an order has shipped to maintain high-quality standards and ensure the safety of our consumable products.

Returns or refunds for merchandise items are not accepted, except in cases where the item is damaged or incorrect. If there is an issue, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with photos of the problem. For sized items, like crewneck and hoodie sweatshirts, exchanges for a different size are available within 30 days of purchase.

Harmless Harvest’s policy is that the Best-By Date printed on each bottle is at least 35 days from the day the order is placed. Meaning, you’ll have at least a month to enjoy your coconut sips!

However, in most cases, the amount of time between order placement and the Best-By Date will give you even more time to enjoy. To help reduce waste, keep this in mind when ordering in large quantities.

First, be sure that you are entering the same email address you used to place your order!

To manage or cancel your recurring orders, log into your Subscription Portal and click on "Manage Subscriptions."

From there, you can update your shipping and billing information, adjust order processing dates, or change your shipping frequency. You can also swap products, pause, skip, or gift future shipments, or even gift them to someone else.

Once your payment has been processed you’ll receive an order confirmation email, at which point, we're unable to make any changes or cancel the order.
We always send a reminder email 5 days ahead of your next subscription order so there is time to make any needed changes like pausing or canceling your subscription.

We've spent years perfecting our unique processes to keep our coconut sips tasting delicious and refreshing. This means our bottles can be non-refrigerated during the shipping journey.

Whether your delivery arrives cold, warm, or without ice packs, you can refrigerate your delivery when you receive it and safely enjoy drinking it. Be sure to give them at least 24 hours to chill completely before drinking - Harmless Harvest® is best enjoyed cold after a good shake!

From harvest to bottling, our coconut water is totally clear, however, the color can vary between batches due to naturally varying levels of antioxidants which can fluctuate based on the harvest and season.

We do not use thermal pasteurization to process our coconut water or acidify our coconut water (by the addition of ingredients like ascorbic acid), so it tends to turn a pink hue over time. Clear or pink, it's still our tasty, organic coconut water!

We can't accommodate delivery date requests or expedited shipping options as we aim to process all orders as quickly as possible!

You will need to request any changes to your delivery directly by creating an online FedEx Delivery Manager account that allows you to request to hold for pickup, provide delivery instructions, and schedule your delivery window.

Orders are processed Mondays through Thursdays, and orders placed before 11 AM Central Time will be shipped the day they are received. All orders ship via FedEx and usually arrive within 72 hours of leaving the warehouse. Our processing and delivery times are never longer than a week.

You'll get a confirmation email shortly after successfully placing your order. We'll send you another update with tracking information once your order has shipped, as well as when it's out for delivery and delivered!

While refrigeration helps maintain product quality and taste for the duration of the shelf life, unopened bottles can safely handle a range of temperatures in transit. Depending on the season, you might receive your Coconut Water partially frozen, or thawed and not cold.

If frozen, let the bottles thaw in the fridge—it’s the same crisp, naturally sweet Coconut Water you know and love. Since your Coconut Water has been kept extra cold, it may not have turned pink yet. The extra cool temperature can delay this pinking process, so the flavor and sweetness you love may take a little longer to develop.

If your delivery arrives at an elevated temperature, pop the bottles in the fridge when you receive them and give them at least 24 hours to chill completely before drinking.

Unopened bottles of our Coconut Water and Coconut Smoothies are safe if kept non-refrigerated in transit, but the quality (i.e. taste!) will degrade faster if left unrefrigerated. Our Coconut Water-based beverages should be stored refrigerated to maintain product quality up to the Best By date printed on the bottle.
Our Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative and Dairy-Free Yogurt Drink products are perishable products and should be kept refrigerated at all times.

We suggest consuming Harmless Harvest Coconut Water and Coconut Smoothie products within 4-5 days of opening as long as the product has been refrigerated and no signs of spoilage exist. Some signs of spoilage are carbonation, a strong smell, thickened consistency, or altered taste. We do not suggest drinking the product if any of these symptoms are present.

We recommend consuming our Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative products immediately after opening. When stored refrigerated, the cup size should be consumed within 24 hours, and our tub size (24oz) should be consumed within 5 days of opening.

The printed best-by date tells you how long our products will be of the best quality at refrigerated temperatures. We do not recommend consuming our products past the listed best-by dates.

With the exception of our Sparkling Coconut Water, you can absolutely freeze our coconut water beverages. We recommend thawing in the refrigerator for optimal quality and taste.
While the texture might not be as smooth once it is thawed, you are welcome to store the Coconut Smoothie in the freezer as this does not impact the safety of the beverage.
Freezing our Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative products is not recommended because it affects the texture and consistency of the product.

The main ingredient in our Coconut Smoothie is Harmless Harvest® Coconut Water. We combine it with hand-scooped coconut meat from the same coconuts to create our deliciously simple smoothie.
Our Coconut Water with Pulp combines our iconic micro-filtered Harmless Harvest® Coconut Water with the irresistible texture of diced coconut meat, and our Coconut Water with Aloe with the delicious texture of aloe vera pulp.
Our probiotic-packed Dairy Free Yogurt Drink blends our coconut water with a fine puree of fresh coconut meat.
Our Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative does not contain coconut water, but it DOES contain coconut meat scooped from the same coconuts that our water is extracted from.

Harmless Harvest products contain coconut. As per United States Food and Drug Administration regulations, coconut is categorized as a tree nut and thus is considered a major food allergen.

Harmless Harvest products do NOT contain any other major allergens identified by the US Food and Drug Administration as listed here – Eggs, Fish, Milk, Peanuts, Crustacean Shellfish, Soybeans, Tree Nuts (except coconut), Wheat, and Sesame.

Our Coconut Water and Coconut Smoothie production facility also makes products containing milk, gluten, soybeans, tree nuts (almond, hazelnut), and fish, while our Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative facility produces items with soybeans and almonds. Our products are free of these allergens, and both facilities follow industry-standardized allergen control policies, procedures, and validation practices to prevent cross-contact contamination.

We don't add preservatives or additives to change the color of the coconut water, nor do we add any flavors, additional sugar, or sweeteners to these products -- the sugar is naturally occurring!

Some people do think the unique coconuts we source are sweeter than those found in other parts of the world, thanks to their distinctive texture, fragrance, and our proprietary bottling methods.

Upcycled foods are created using ingredients that would have otherwise gone unused for human consumption that are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains, and have a positive impact on the environment. At Harmless Harvest, we divert coconut meat waste from landfills by blending it into our delicious yogurt & smoothie products.

Our Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative (including the Rich & Creamy line) begins with freshly scooped meat from Nam Hom coconuts—the same ones we harvest for our coconut water! We make it the traditional way, with live and active cultures, giving our yogurt alternatives their smooth and creamy texture.

We combine our coconut water with hand-scooped coconut meat to craft our deliciously simple Coconut Smoothie.

Yes, all our products are certified Kosher! Our Dairy Free Yogurt Drink is certified by KSA and is considered KSA-D because although this is a vegan product, it is manufactured in a facility that handles dairy. We have rigorous processes and testing in place to ensure we do not have any dairy contamination in our products. All of our other products are certified by OU.

We’re transitioning our yogurt alternative products to OU-DE certifications to better represent our dairy-free offerings. Our core line of yogurt alternatives is currently OU-D certified because they contain an ingredient made on shared dairy equipment, although they remain dairy-free. Our Rich & Creamy yogurt alternatives are certified OU-DE.

The natural flavors in our products are all USDA organic compliant. They are derived from natural (not synthetic) materials and are used to ensure a consistent flavor from batch to batch.

We add carbon dioxide just like your favorite sparkling water to give our already refreshing coconut water an extra sparkle.

We scooped the soft, tender coconut meat from the same organic, Nam Hom coconuts that we get our coconut water from and diced it up to create the pulp in this product. Read more about what makes our coconuts special here!

Yes, absolutely! This is a natural coloration that occurs similar to the pinking of our coconut water.

No, we source organic aloe vera pulp that is aloin-free.

Some natural separation can occur over time and will mix back in upon stirring. 

“MCTs” are medium-chain triglycerides, a form of saturated fatty acid. Certain saturated fats, especially MCTs, are in fact easier to digest and convert into an energy source than long-chain triglycerides (LCTs).

It does! Our Rich & Creamy Yogurt contains coconut meat scooped from the same Nam Hom coconuts that our coconut water is extracted from. We also blend it with organic coconut cream to give the yogurt its rich and creamy texture.

The addition of coconut cream gives it an extra-rich, creamy texture. We also use tapioca and corn starches as thickeners.

All the saturated fat in this product comes naturally from coconut. Since everyone’s dietary needs are unique, enjoy this as part of a balanced diet. If you have any concerns, please consult with your doctor or nutrition expert.

We utilize fruit puree to add a touch of sweetness (but no added sugar) to our Berry Medley and Peach Mango yogurts. Our Plain and Vanilla Bean yogurts are unsweetened.

Probiotics are microorganisms that are believed to provide health benefits when consumed in adequate quantities and help support the naturally occurring microflora in our bodies. Your digestive tract has been exposed to a steady stream of bacteria – some helpful, some harmful. One key to intestinal health is maintaining a balance of these helpful and harmful bacteria. Over time, many factors including diet, aging, antibiotic use, travel, medications, illness, stress, and hormonal changes, can disrupt intestinal balance. Probiotics help level the playing field of good and bad bacteria.

While there are a number of bacteria that are believed to provide benefits, only strains that have undergone controlled studies documenting the benefits may be called probiotics. Probiotics have been shown to help support digestive health, better the absorption of nutrients, and help maintain healthy immune systems depending on the specific strain consumed.

We start by extracting the coconut water and hand-scooping and trimming coconut meat, which is milled into a fine puree. We combine the puree with coconut water, and then pasteurize it before introducing vegan yogurt cultures to ferment it into a smooth, refreshing probiotic beverage.

Like milk yogurt, the base is pasteurized prior to fermentation. Adding the cultures after pasteurization allows them to thrive. Once the fermentation is completed, the beverage is immediately cooled to stop the fermentation and then bottled.

Probiotics are measured by CFUs. CFU is short for colony-forming unit. In microbiology, a colony-forming unit (CFU) is a measurement used to estimate the number of viable bacteria or fungal cells in a sample.

Our product has 10 billion CFUs at the time of manufacture in an 8 fl oz serving. Technically speaking, comparing the culture count to other probiotic products isn't a good comparison since different probiotic strains are effective at different levels.
