They’re crisp and hydrating, and when paired with our Organic Coconut Water, it makes for an ideal summer treat. Our easy mocktail recipe is great to take a swig of poolside, to bring in a canteen to the beach, or just to sip while chilling inside for those days you’d rather enjoy the luxury of AC. When you're out in the summer sun and need to quench your thirst, why not reach for a delectable concoction of sweet coconut water, refreshing cucumber, aromatic ginger, and tart lime juice? Top it all off with a simple green tea syrup, and you’ve got a delightfully complex, deliciously hydrating drink. As far as mocktail recipes go, this one is low-maintenance, so you can spend more time swimming or tanning or frolicking than you would chopping and blending and stirring. Summer’s all about finding little ways to enjoy yourself, so treat yourself to one of the best non-alcoholic drinks we’ve come up with yet!
What You'll Need
For the mocktail:
- 4 oz Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water
- 4 ginger slices
- 1 oz lime
- 6 cucumber slices
- ¾ oz green tea syrup
For the green tea syrup:
- 2 bags green tea
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
For the garnish (optional):
- Cucumber ribbons
- Edible flower
How To Make It
- To make the green tea syrup, steep 2 bags of green tea in hot water for 10 minutes. Remove. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Add coconut water to a shaker. Add cucumber and ginger slices, then muddle. Add lime juice and green tea syrup.
- Shake with ice. Double strain into a glass with ice. Garnish and enjoy!
